Why Choose G & S Bin Cleaning?
“G & S was born from a simple idea — to offer a service most people don’t realize they need, but one that truly protects the community.”
With G & S Bin Cleaning and Power Washing, we eliminate up to 150 types of harmful bacteria from your trash, recycle, and yard waste bins.
Unlike DIY cleaning, which risks spreading contaminated water into storm drains, creeks, and rivers, we use a 17-stage filtration system to collect, filter, and safely dispose of waste water.
Our eco-friendly process sanitizes bins and protects your home, family, and community while conserving water.

What’s Really Lurking in
Your Trash Bins?
From harmful bacteria to maggots and runoff, your bins can become a breeding ground for more than just bad smells. Here’s a closer look at the hidden hazards we help eliminate — and why regular cleaning matters.
Harmful Bacteria
Dangerous bacteria thrive in the dark, moist environment of your bins, posing a serious risk to your family’s health — especially children and pets.
Soiled Diapers
Dirty diapers don’t just smell — they release bacteria like E. coli and salmonella into your bin, creating a serious health risk for sanitation workers, children, and pets.
Rotting Food Waste
Leftover scraps don’t just stink — they become a buffet for pests and a breeding ground for bacteria and mold.
Maggots, Insects & Unwanted Visitors
Rotting food attracts flies, maggots, raccoons, and rodents — turning your bin into a breeding ground and buffet for unwanted guests.
Polluted Runoff
Rinsing bins in the driveway sends contaminated water straight into the storm drain — harming local wildlife and violating state laws.
Pet Waste Buildup
Pet waste should be bagged in California, but when it’s not, it spreads parasites like roundworms and bacteria like Giardia—turning your bin into a biohazard.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
While it might seem easy to hose down your bins, doing it yourself can violate California environmental laws.
Improper disposal of liquid industrial byproducts into storm drains is not only harmful—it’s illegal. Remember: storm drains are not connected to treatment plants. Anything poured into them flows directly into our creeks, rivers, and ultimately, our oceans.
This contaminated wastewater doesn’t just disappear—it can seep into the environment and end up in our drinking water.
At G & S Bin Cleaning, we use a self-contained, EPA-certified system that captures and filters wastewater.
It’s safe, legal, and leaves your bins sanitized with zero environmental harm.

Your Trash Bins Are Dirtier Than You Think!
Bins can harbor over 150 types of harmful bacteria—and most of us handle them at least four times a month. We scrub our bathrooms regularly to keep germs at bay, but when was the last time your bins got the same attention?
Here’s the truth: your bins are one of the most overlooked household essentials.
If your toilet looked like your bin, you’d clean it.
So why not treat your "outdoor throne" with the same respect?
-
We recommend monthly cleanings. We’re always tossing away all sorts of different types of food, oils, and fertilizers into our garbage, recycling, and compost bins. Our bins attract all sorts of rodents, insects, and wildlife to our
homes. Monthly cleanings help eliminate the need for pest control, and we use less water the more we service your bins!
HOA communities love the monthly service! Did you know that most HOA communities require your bins to be kept in your garage?
-
Garbage companies may change schedules, and trucks occasionally break down. At G & S Bin Cleaning and Power Washing, we’ll arrive the day after your trash is picked up—rain or shine.
If you need to use your trash bin before service, please place all items in a sealed garbage bag. We’ll remove the bag for cleaning and return it to the bin once the service is complete.
For HOA communities we coordinate a cleaning schedule that works best for the rules set by the HOA’s.
-
We collect all our wastewater from the cleaning process in our hopper.
Then through our 17-stage filtration system, recycle, reuse, and burn water off into steam.
